From Zero To Six Figures: How To Make Image Ads With Chat GPT
How I Save Hundreds of Hours Coming Up With Creative Concepts
Consumers are bombarded with hundreds of ads daily.
Whether it’s e-commerce, digital, or lead gen, there are countless of ads that consumers go through. This does not even include TV, newspaper, and billboard ads we see daily.

How Do I Capture Attention?
How can I make my brand stand out in the sea of competition?
You don’t necessarily have to be better, but be different.
It sounds easy but can be hard at the same time. As a marketer, you naturally want to pack your ads with information so consumers are convinced and be clever.
None of that matters if you can’t capture attention. I am here to help you with Chat GPT.
3-Step Process To Create 6-Figure Static Ads
I like to teach marketing fundamentals in few steps as possible so it’s easy to consume and easy to implement. So here are the 3 steps you need to create statics that will slash your customer acquisition costs:
What’s in it for me?
Is it painful?
Addressing the prospect’s objection
Step 1: What’s in it for me?
People want to know from an ad, “What can I gain from their product?”
This is what we will address.
The example product that we will be using is wireless earphones. Through Chat GPT, I want it to spit out a list of features.
(This will already save me 30 minutes of research and thinking).
1a) Brainstorm features of the product
You are my expert product marketer and researcher.
List all the features of wireless earphones (like Apple's Airpod) and present them in bullet points. List at least 7 minimum features.

1b) Turn features into benefits.
Features are good but benefits are better (meaning benefits are more relatable to consumers = a.k.a easier selling).
Now, turn these features into benefits. For each benefit, provide an example of a specific situation where it will improve user's life.

1c) Let’s extract headlines.
Now, let’s find some goodies that Chat GPT has mentioned.
Additionally, we can start to imagine which client personas will be attracted to these benefits.
I like this benefit so let’s make creatives from this.
True Wireless Experience: Enjoy complete freedom of movement without cables.
Example: While jogging in the park, you can run without worrying about tangled wires, enjoying your workout more freely.
1d) Time to make some creative juice.
Let’s get a little bit more creative. We want to stand out from the competition by being different.
Let me show you how:
Prepare a list of songs that joggers like to listen to when jogging in the park.

1e) Creative Made
Have a look at this beauty. What do you think?

An alternative headline could be: Don’t Have To Worry About The Wires
Step 2: Is it painful?
Now, let’s get to the exciting part.
Step 1 showed the benefits of using a wireless earphone. A pocket of the audience might be attracted to this notion but others might be attracted to the pain associated with not owning one.
I want to research why not having an earphone can be detrimental to a user’s life and how the alternatives in the market are bad.
You are my product marketer and researcher.
What are the market alternatives to buying an wireless headphone? Provide me with brief bullt points.
Give a short and concise answer.

Now list the disadvantages to each alternative. Provide concise and short bullet points.

1a) Let’s extract useful ideas.
Wired Headphones
Restrictive movement due to cable. Can cause ear sweating.
With these disadvantages, I can come up with a few headline ideas:
Headline 1: Run free. Without the wires.
Headline 2: Wires ruin your running rhythm.
Headline 3: It’s hard to jog when you are tied up.
Headline 4: Experience the true jogging.
Headline 5: Don’t ruin your running rhythm.
Headline 6: How do you run when you’re tied up?
I hope you see how Chat GPT can help me come up with creative angles.
But some people hold strong objections and do not want to change. So let’s start addressing them in the next step.
Step 3: Addressing the prospect’s objection
There is a pocket of an audience that needs further convincing and you would want to address any mental objection they have. Here’s how:
You are my product researcher and you are a person who knows about wireless earphone like Apple's airpod but still keeps using wired headphones for jogging.
Explain why you're doing that. Use bullet points to explain, be clear and concise.

Rewrite the above like you are telling me the reasons.

From this result, I can pinpoint that prospects are concerned with battery life, falling out when running, and connectivity.
Here are phrases that I want to extract from the above:
“Gives me consistent performance”
“Rigorous activity”
“Stable connection'“
“I don’t have to deal with…”
“Without potential dropouts”
Now, I want the prospects who are voting for wired earphones to visualize moments where wires get tangled and…
Do not provide them with “consistent performance/runnings”
Do not support them in their “rigorous activity”
Have to deal with getting their earphones tangled
Now here is a creative concept for my creatives designer using Chat GPT:
Please note this is a sketch and creative concept only.

Tip: Before And After
People want to get to a better state (from A to B) and our job as marketers is to bridge that gap. Here is an easy way to use Chat GPT:
You are my expert marketing assistant.
What are the before and after comparison display Apple Airpod's benefits?

Come up with scenarios with the above. Make it concise and brief.

Based on our previous exercise, we kept focusing on ‘wires’, so let’s keep going with this. With my headlines, I want them to be brief and punchy.
If I add too many words in the headline, people may skip it as it may come off as information overload. So now, I will brief GPT with this prompt:
Now write a rhmyed poem about scenario 1 and scenario 3.

Okay, I have highlighted phrases that I want to use in my ad copy. Here is the result:
![]() | ![]() |
Now that’s a wrap! Thank you so much for reading this long post.
I hope you enjoyed the steps involved in making 6 figure ad creative concepts without spending hours and hours of research.
